General Characteristics 

  • ReadyTrace does NOT require a user registration in order to issue a recall notice.

  • No user action is necessary to receive product recall alert notice.

  • The current product user needs NOT to be the original owner.

  • Rapid simultaneous notice is sent to multiple units being recalled.

  • Higher recall effectiveness is expected by using ReadyTrace.

  • Possible reductions in product liability costs may lower unit costs to manufacturer, retailer, and consumer.

  • For particularly dangerous malfunctions, the Product Notice Receiver (PNR) can also disable the consumer product.

  • The PNR can be used to disseminate different warning messages to products such as: flood warnings, fire warnings, hurricane warnings, maintenance notices, and etc.

 

 
RT0706

     This is a programmable amplifier chip which, when used in conjunction with the RT0707 Receiver Chip, forms a two-chip solution for receiving data from the ReadyTrace Signaling System (RSS). The RT0706 provides all necessary support circuitry for the RT0707 Data Receiver Chip including the following functions:


  • Precision RF Amplifiers.

  • AM Detection Circuitry.

  • Saturation Detectors.

  • Serial Host Processor Interface.

  • Nationwide Coverage Serviced by RSS.

  • Products Incorporating the RT0707 in Conjunction with the RT0706 can be immediately contacted by manufacturers.

 

RT0707

     This is a data receiver chip which, when used in conjunction with the RT0706 programmable amplifier chip, forms a two-chip solution for receiving data from the ReadyTrace Signaling System (RSS). The RT0707 provides on-chip antenna tuning capabilities and also demodulates the ReadyTrace signal that is transmitted on host AM broadcast transmitters. This data receiver chip includes the following functions:

  • RF Front End for RSS Receivers.

  • Digital Demodulator.

  • RSS Frame Capture.

  • FEC Decoder.

  • Serial Host Processor Interface.

  • Nationwide Coverage Serviced by RSS.

RTM02

     The RTM02 is a "Recall Dongle" designed to allow easy integration with a wide variety of juvenile products such as: high-chairs, strollers, baby cribs, play-pens, baby car seatschild safety restraints, and etc. The RTM02 module combines a ReadyTrace RT0301-LP Low Power Product Notice Receiver with an antenna, a CR2032 Coin Battery, a motion detector and a light emitting diode to deliver a reliable and easy to integrate recall receiver module. The RTM03 receiver module combines a ReadyTrace RT0708 data receiver, an antenna, and a light emitting diod to deliver a reliable and easy to integrate recall receiver module.
